Interior Design Services

There are a few ways you can chose to engage Studio Seventyfour services. If none of these options suit your needs, I can tailor a service to suit you.

One Off Design Consultation. 

At your home or preferred place to meet for 2hrs. This is for interior design advice for whatever you need assistance with.  So be prepared with a list of questions and take notes along the way.  2hrs is the average meeting time, it can be extended if needed.

Fixed Scope Projects.  

For medium to large projects.  A typical medium project would be design of a kitchen and large a full house renovation or new build, design and specification project. When a clear scope for the project has been defined and the design fee has been quoted. If the scope increases, which it often does, then an hourly rate is applied for extra work requested by you. A time estimate will be provided before commencing extra work.

Design Assistant. 

A fixed half day of 3.5hrs or full day of 7hrs. Suited to those who have a good idea of their style and what they want, but need a professional, experienced designer to review and finalise their selections with reassurance that the right decision has been made together.  You can use your half day or full day for whatever it is you need assistance with for your unique project.  Popular for new home buyers preparing for pre-start or self-managed renovators.  This can also include tips and design advice for your house plans or cabinetry, such as kitchen or bathrooms to improve functionality and visual design appeal. 

Fixed Time Designer. 

A fixed block of time that you nominate up front for how many hours you want to pay for to suit your budget.  Starting minimum is 10hrs. 

Flexible Designer. 

Charged by the hour, when required.  For those who need an interior designer throughout their project. This is so you know you have an interior designer on board, that you can call on, when you decide you need help.  This is suited to owner builders, clients working with boutique builders, multi-residential projects and full house renovations done in stages.  Great for those who like to make decisions as the project progresses.  For design work, such as kitchen joinery, where drawings and specifications are provided, this will be quoted separately.

First Design Consultation.  

Required for Fixed Scope Projects / Fixed Time Designer / Flexible Designer. 

At your home or preferred place to meet. Typical first meeting is 1.5hrs. This is our first meeting and a very important one! This is when we discuss your project in detail.  Establish a brief including design style and the scope of works you require.  It’s also an opportunity at getting to know each other, asking lots of questions and decide whether I am a good fit for you and your project.   

Quick Questions. (terms apply)

Up to 15mins of consultation via email/phone/text.  This is an exclusive service for my established clients who have already engaged my services.  This will be offered to you at the completion of a project with me.  This is for the client who has a “quick question” and need my advice on small decisions they are stuck on that doesn’t require a full consultation.  e.g. I have designed your kitchen, the kitchen has been installed and now you want to buy some bar stools. You need my opinion on a few you have chosen, but can’t decide if the style and colours work.

Furniture Selection (limited service)

I provide this service only to my established and loyal clients who have already engaged services on other projects such as house renovations or complete new build projects.  This is a “add on” exclusive service.
